We designed the AI Maturity Model (AIMM) to help you benchmark how you are doing with AI today. With the AIMM Test, learn what you need to progress to the next stage.
We define AI Maturity as a measure of your team’s awareness and readiness to integrate AI capabilities into their work, allowing you to expand the scope of work and, quite possibly, lead you to transform your activity altogether.
The AI Maturity Model is a theoretical framework through which any team can quickly determine its position on the five-stage AI maturity track simply by answering a handful of questions.
Taking the AIMM Test is the next natural step in understanding where you are… and what progression with AI can look like for you. Gain in-depth insights and recommendations for areas you may want to pursue to reach the next level.

So, what is the AIMM Test?
The AIMM Test is an assessment we developed to gauge your team’s and organization’s AI Maturity. The first step of the AIMM Test is to define your reality today, including AI-related activities, the skills and tech that are readily available to you, and behaviors that allow you to advance — or those holding you back. The second step is expanding your thinking and highlighting areas and recommendations to help you progress.

What can you expect out of the AIMM Test?
The AIMM Test is a self-service online assessment that you can take (and retake) at any point to determine your current position on the five-stage AI journey (as per the AI Maturity Model) and obtain practical recommendations on areas to progress and expand the scope of your activities.
In practical terms, you’ll obtain a PDF result based on your answers that highlights how you’re doing across the four systemic areas of work touched by AI — operations, technology, people and knowledge, and strategy — and obtain tailored recommendations that will orient you towards new lines of inquiry and applications of AI in your program’s day to day.
It’s not just about the result you obtain by completing the AIMM Test but also about pausing to consider the numerous questions in the questionnaire. We designed the questions based on extensive research of programs tasked with making AI in localization a reality. The questions are meant to spur your mind in new directions and consider all the facets of operationalizing AI you may not have thought about. If one thing is sure with AI in localization today, it is always to keep moving, formulate the right questions, and expand your horizons.
